Welcome to the Office of Academic Advising (FAS)
The Faculty of Arts and Sciences (FAS) Office of Academic Advising assists students with all their academic needs from the time they are accepted until graduation. Advisors provide guidance to undecided students as well as to those pursuing admission to business, engineering, and nursing majors. Services are also available for International students who are studying on F and J visas.
Individual advising appointments are available for choosing a major or minor, selecting courses, discussing graduation requirements and explaining Degree Navigator, the university’s on-line degree audit program.

| February 1 | First day to submit a May Graduation Application |
| March 5 | Last day to submit a May Graduation Application |
| March 13-21 | Spring Break |
| April 5 | Last day to DROP a course with a W grade and without academic penalty. After today students must petition the Scholastic Standing Committee* |
| April 19 | Last day to WITHDRAWL from ALL courses* |
| May 3 | Final Exams begin |
| May 4 & May 5 | Reading days |
| May 6 | Finals begin |
| May 12 | Finals end |
